Add a Variety of Compostable Material

Envirocycle composters are very efficient at making compost. Add different mixes of green and brown material to add some variety to the pile. Simply turn the drum approximately 3 times, every 3 days to mix oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and water. If you turn the drum too often, it may disturb the microorganisms and the composting process may slow down. Following these simple steps will encourage the growth of composting microorganisms and help break down compostable material faster.
